Supportive Services for Veteran Families

The SSVF (Supportive Services for Veteran Families) at the University of Vermont program helps very-low income veterans and veteran families who are homeless or imminently at risk of homelessness gain and retain stable housing. 

SSVF Services Include:

  • Case Management 
  • Housing search and placement 
  • Employment/Income support services
  • Veteran peer services
  • Assistance accessing VA benefits
  • Connection to community supports
  • Legal services

SSVF at the University of Vermont is funded through the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs and provides services throughout Vermont and adjacent counties of New Hampshire and New York state.
